About Library

The basic principles of the library in providing material by donation are as follows:

Except for manuscripts and rare works in the collection to be donated, outdated materials are not accepted.

Donated material is not accepted if it is in the library collection (except for reserve publications), photocopied or physically worn.

The Department of Library and Documentation has the right to decide in which section and in accordance with which rules the donated materials will be presented to the users.

The Department of Library and Documentation may request collection donations from natural or legal persons.

If it deems appropriate, the Department of Library and Documentation has the right to return the materials accepted as donations or donate them to another library.

The library is not responsible for the announcement of the list of donated materials. In addition, a list of donated materials is kept.

In case the number of donated materials is at least 10,000 or more, a separate collection is created with the opinion and approval of the General Secretariat, taking into account the donor’s request and the suitability of physical conditions.
